Enter to Win a Painting!

August 6, 2013
by

IMG_4654With Facebook’s “no contest” policy in using their business pages; I thought the next best place to post this drawing contest was my own blog.  Granted, I don’t write about my painting here, but this is a personal space that Bill and I keep up on journaling our home renovation.  Feel free to subscribe or read as you wish to 60westmain.com.  We started this as a way to share our progress on the house with our families.

So, it is August, the month of a “painting giveaway”.  To enter the drawing for one of my pieces, please comment in the blog below.  To be entered twice in the drawing, share this post somehow, someway. . . . either on FB, on Twitter, on Pinterest, on Tumblr on your own blog or send it to some friends in an email.  Let me know how you shared it in your comment.  At the end of August, I will collect the names and enter them in a drawing, pulling one out randomly.  I will post the winner on the FB page, on Twitter and here in the comments of this blog post.  Course, I will also contact them in person. 😉

The painting to be won is one of three 12″ x 12″ pieces below.  These have all been completed in the last year, and they are on cradled wood panel, so ready to hang.  All are high gloss finish with a protective varnish.  The winner can choose their piece.  I do all of my work in acrylic, just fyi.

Good luck to all!

Karyn 1) I love your paintings. Love. 2) I wish I could get out and see you and your sweet house and family 3) Josiah and I drove past Brunswick and stopped at the King house last week. You wouldn’t recognize it. The new owners doubled the size of it, it looks all big and shmancy now. And I was remembering driving down that road and thinking about the scary movie we were going to make. 🙂 miss you!

Please come anytime, Jeanne! We are about 5 hours west of you, a nice country drive and plenty of room and lots of toys. 😉 OH how I miss MSMT! I’d love to hear all about it sometime!

I have an empty wall in my “retreat” room, and I honestly was thinking awhile back that I’d love to have one of your paintings hanging there! It would hold so much meaning to me. 🙂

I love all of your paintings, Karyn! I was lucky to be able to be a guest in your and Bill’s home and was able to admire all of your paintings you had hanging up throughout your home. I think it’s awesome that you are giving away one of your paintings and am excited to think that I could be the winner! 🙂

I don’t want to be entered in the drawing because as you know I already have one of your paintings. Just wanted to say I like the use of the dark color down the center of the one painting. Gives it a little boost of interest in that spot that is intriguing. I like all 3 but like that one the best. Love Aunt Donna
